Lowe's: FREE Build and Grow Clinics for Kids
During the month, Lowe's Home Improvement stores hold clinics for children 5 or 6 and up.
On September 10th, kids will be able to build a police car with flashing light.
On September 24th, kids will be able to build a firetruck with a working siren.
In order to participate in these clinics, you must sign up on the website. The best part is these clinics are FREE!

Coming Soon
My son is completely obsessed with Thomas the Tank Engine. This year, A Day With Thomas at the B & O Railroad is the last weekend in April and the first weekend in May. Tickets are $18 and have gone on sale to members of the B & O Railroad (tickets will probably go on sale to the public the beginning of February). Check here for more information.
Disney on Ice, 100 Years of Magic will be in Baltimore at the 1st Mariner February 3-7. It will also be in Washington, DC at the Verizon Center February 10-15. You can buy these tickets online through Ticketmaster.

Some Inspiration...For Couponing, That Is!
I have to post this video for you guys since I haven't had time to post anything in a couple of days. Check out how this Massachusetts mom does her grocery shopping (click here). I was AMAZED! I did do a little research on her on Google. She does buy coupons on Ebay, and she uses in-store coupons, catalinas, manufacturers coupons, etc which obviously saves her LOTS of money! Did you see her stockpile of toilet tissue?? ;)

Old Navy has $2 costumes and accessories 10/30 (today) - 10/31. There probably isn't much left, but if you're headed near one it can't hurt to check.
Toys R Us has a halloween event tomorrow (10/31) from Noon - 3 pm. Always call your local store first to verify if they are participating.
Michael's halloween event if from 10 am - 2 pm (10/31).

Taco Bell has a FREE BlackJack taco from 6 pm - 12 midnight.
Boston Market's $1 Meals expires on November 1.

Get Out of the House...and TAKE the Kid(s)!
Do you remember going to the pumpkin patch as a child?? I do. There's tons of them throughout Maryland that you and your child(ren) can visit. Click here.
In York, PA, Wolfgang Candy offers FREE factory tours! All of you working mommies will have to take a day off for this one, though. Walk-in tours are Monday - Thursday from 10 am to 2pm, and Fridays at 10 am and 1 pm.
Live near Rosedale?? Check out Storyville in the library, designed specifically for children ages birth to five and their parents/caregivers. (If you have children over five, you must make other arrangements for them.) Also, check your local library for other events. Most of them are during the week, but some events are held on Saturdays.
Movies in the theatre: Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs; Toy Story Double Feature (Toy Story and Toy Story 2)

Take Advantage of Your Surroundings!
Wondering what to do with a three year old who is FULL of energy?? Me, too! So as I was searching today, I came across some activities for those "mommy and me" outings.
Thrifty Thursdays have returned at Port Discovery. They offer $6 admission for all guests after 1 p.m. every Thursday through December 17th. (Kids Love Downtown Baltimore)
Entry to the National Aquarium in Baltimore is just $5 after 5 p.m. on Fridays. This is for the basic ticket. Other fees may apply for special events, exhibits, and shows. (National Aquarium)
Disney's A Christmas Carol Tour will be at the B & O Railroad Museum. Best of all, it's FREE.
Disney on Ice: Celebrations will be in town October 28th - November 1st at the 1st Mariner Arena.
If you live near the Beltway 6 movie theater on Belair Road, they are currently showing G-Force. Admission is just $4 dollars for adults and $3 for children or seniors.
The Darlington Apple Festival is THIS Saturday, October 3rd. For more information, click here.
Of course, there are tons of other activities...as soon as I know more I will try my hardest to post them.
